Day School

Turn daycare into Day School

Drop your dog off with us to enjoy the benefit of daily structure and education! Our day school is not a “play all day” daycare. Your dog will spend the day with our trainers reinforcing good behaviors such as place training, leash manners, structure, and more. They will be walked in the surrounding neighborhoods, given lunch and snacks, and experience properly supervised socialization.

Basic Day School

How it works

  • Day School is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • Within the same week, dogs are welcome to do any or all the days.
  • Drop Off is between Between 8:00am-9:30am
  • Pick Up is between Between 4:00pm-5:30pm

A few requirements

In addition to a required 1/2 hour evaluation ($75), to become a MDTC Day School student, your dog must be:

  • Active in group classes, completed a private lesson, participated in our Board & Train program, or approved by a trainer.
  • Completely crate trained at home and has the ability to settle in a crate.
  • At least 5 months old.
  • Up to date on rabies, distemper, and flea & tick preventative. Kennel cough strongly recommend, but not required.

Benefits

Day School has all the benefit of a Board & Train program, but without the overnight boarding. This program is not a traditional “daycare” as such but rather offers the structure needed to teach your dog how to be neutral around other dogs while learning impulse control, as well as leash and calm house manners.

This program can also be used to introduce your dog to the e-collar and teach foundations of a recall and more advanced obedience skills.

  • Space is limited
  • Program must be prepaid (NO refunds for no show)
  • Please bring any training tools such as prong, e-collar (charged), etc.

NOTE: Once registered, we will send you a confirmation email with details, invoice, and waiver. Only full payment guarantees a spot.
